What a Grand Wagoneer
Series III is

When Jeep relaunched the Grand Wagoneer, the Series III was the flagship of the line — the trim with everything standard. J.D. Power ranked the Grand Wagoneer the highest-appeal large premium SUV in America for 2022; Wards named its cabin to the 2022 10 Best Interiors & UX list. This is that vehicle.

Performance

Hurricane Twin Turbo 510

The 3.0-liter Hurricane High Output twin-turbo inline-six makes 510 horsepower and 500 lb-ft — more power than the 6.4L V8 it replaced, with better efficiency. Its two turbos each feed three cylinders, holding at least 90% of peak torque from 2,300 rpm to redline. Jeep has fitted this engine to every Grand Wagoneer since; you're getting the current powertrain, not the discontinued one.

  • ZF 8HP75 8-speed automatic with Electronic Range Select
  • Quadra-Drive II 4×4 — two-speed transfer case, rear electronic limited-slip differential that can send 100% of rear torque to the wheel with grip
  • Quadra-Lift air suspension with semi-active damping — five ride heights, up to 10 inches of ground clearance, auto-leveling under load
  • Selec-Terrain — Auto, Sport, Rock, Snow, Sand/Mud modes with Selec-Speed control
  • Tows up to 9,800 lb — factory Class IV receiver, trailer-sway control, 7/4-pin wiring
  • 24 inches of water-fording depth; hill-descent and hill-hold control
